Millie has an undergraduate degree in Human, Social and Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge, as well as an MSc with Distinction in European and Global Governance from the University of Bristol. Prior to teaching, she worked in the technology sector and was also a freelance writer.
Teaching Experience and approach
Currently a full-time teacher at an academy in West London, Millie has worked both in education and as a private tutor for the past three years, and has tutored over 130 hours with Expert Tuition. Trained as a UCAS application and personal statement coach, she has a strong track record of A/A* grades, with students going on to top universities such as Oxbridge and the US Ivy League. Millie is an expert in essay writing skills, helping students to develop the well-structured and fluent essays that are crucial for achieving the top grades, and is also highly experienced in running practice interviews for students looking to go to some of the world’s best universities.

I am a passionate Politics and History subject specialist, and I love to communicate this to my students. I enjoy working with enthusiastic young adults, and I love helping them on their path to success. Alongside my work in the classroom, I value the one-to-one time that tuition offers and the opportunity to really get to know a student, which makes their success even more rewarding.

Millie injected magic into my sons Politics A level preparation.
