Background
Emma has been a Deputy Head (Academic and Pastoral). She attended Forest School in London where she subsequently taught in the Prep School. She took her BA and PGCE at the University of Cambridge where she specialised in Education and Music. She has taught a range of subjects at both Primary and Secondary level and been subject leader in Maths, English, Music & Humanities. Her work in Senior Management has included designing the Curriculum, creating Schemes of Work, Assessment, Safeguarding and setting up Wellbeing. Emma has both state and private sector experience. She is a qualified practitioner in “Motivational Maps” which are an invaluable tool for use with children and adults, identifying what drives people as well as current levels of motivation. With Emma’s particular interest in wellbeing (including emotional and mental health) these can be very insightful.
