A-Level Economics

We believe in the idea that Economics is a logical idea expressed in complex ways. To that end, our approach is always to ensure students fully follow the logic underpinning a theory and then build them up, step-by-step, to applying that theory to exam questions. It is a tried-and-tested method that helps develop a genuine love for the subject, build up academic confidence, and translate into outstanding exam results.

The A-Level Economics specification varies slightly between each exam board, and the choice of exam board is made by the school. If a student is on a gap year or sitting the exam as an external candidate, our specialist Economics consultants can offer advice about which course to follow.

Every economics tutor who has successfully navigated their way through the recruitment process must also attend additional training specifically for A-Level Economics. The training has been put together and is delivered by Ahmed. It covers, amongst other things, going through our tried-and-tested methods, perfecting a student’s exam technique, the importance of utilising examiner reports and how to shape every student so that they are on course to get at least an A.

In addition to the training, Economics tutors are provided with in-house resources and have direct access to Ahmed at any time to make sure that the quality of sessions is always high.
