TEACHING EXPERIENCE & APPROACH
Chris has tutored in London across all age groups (8+ to degree level) for the last six years and also currently works at a central Bank, with prior Consulting experience in the private sector.
Christopher has numerous hours of logged 1:1 tuition, focused primarily on 11+ and 13+ entrance examinations for London’s top schools. This includes significant experience developing student’s Maths, English and Verbal & Non-Verbal Reasoning (ISEB, CEM etc.) test taking strategies. He also regularly covers Maths and English to GCSE level and Geography GCSE, A-Level and IB (OCR, AQA, Edexcel etc.), as well as working with students on university personal statements and graduate applications.
He has experience getting students into the following schools:
Alleyn’s, City of London, City of London for Girls, Colfe’s, Dulwich College, Francis Holland, Godolphin, Haberdashers’ Askes’, Harrow, Highgate, James Allen’s, Kings College, Latymer Upper, Mill Hill, St Pauls, Westminster, Wetherby.
Having a strong academic background, I have always thoroughly enjoyed helping students to work through complex problems and realise their full potential. I also very much enjoy building long-term relationships with the families I tutor, a number of whom I’ve been with for several years.
“We have been so grateful for Chris. He has really boosted our son’s confidence and helped elevate his competence across Maths, English and Reasoning in preparation for his 11+ and ISEB campaign. He has a friendly disposition, professional demeanour and the use of creative methods and personal connection with my son have all come together to help unlock challenging topics and bolster his existing knowledge. Thanks Chris!”
