A full-time tutor for five years, born and brought up in North London, Dhananjay speaks many languages, ten conversationally or better. He attended St. Paul’s School and then studied French and Italian at the University of Cambridge, spending a year abroad in Rome (where he chose to learn Russian through lessons taught entirely in Italian!)

Dhananjay has an MA in Translation and Interpreting and has previously carried out translations and skillful transcriptions of live interviews with different footballers from various languages into English during the UEFA Euro 2016.

As well as languages, Dhananjay is a sports fan and ardent supporter of Manchester United and enjoys literature, music, psychology and philosophy, often incorporating these into lessons, making them exciting while providing practical examples of real-life application.

Teaching Experience and Approach

Dhananjay has worked as a professional tutor for five years, teaching a variety of students of different ages and levels, using his expertise and knowledge of languages to help many students achieve top grades, particularly at GCSE and A Level.

In addition, he has guided many students in applying for and achieving entrance to top schools at 11+ and 13+ level, including St. Paul’s Boys’ School, Eton, London Oratory, Cardinal Vaughan, St. Helen’s, South Hampstead, North London Collegiate, Habs’ Girls’ School, Henrietta Barnett, Dame Alice Owen, and The Latymer School.

Flexibility is at the absolute core of Dhananjay’s successful tuition methods. A sheer determination to get students to their objective includes designing tailor-made plans and entire exam technique guides for particular exam boards. He always seeks to make lessons enjoyable and interactive, and to instill in students the enthusiasm he has for his subjects.

Why Tutoring?

I’m very passionate about tutoring, deciding to make it a full-time career. I find it extremely rewarding to help students to achieve top academic results and to fulfill their potential.

My enthusiasm and expertise, both for teaching languages and many other subjects, enables students to thrive and achieve the results they deserve.
